The 1.2-liter water tank can boil for about 60 minutes, which is just enough for preparing most meals. You should not add anything to the water, but you can place herbs, garlic, etc. in the sieve in the middle of the pot through which the steam flows. The 3 compartments have a total capacity of 9 liters, and a 1-liter bowl for cooking rice is included in the delivery. The compartments contain practical egg holders.
The pot has a built-in timer with a maximum cooking time of 60 minutes. After 60 minutes, the pot turns off automatically. If the water boils out before the timer runs out, the dry run protection will turn off the heat source. In this case, the timer continues to run, and if you add water, the heating starts again immediately. If the timer runs out without any water being added, the pot shuts down completely. So you don't have to worry about the device overheating or your food drying out.
