The enhanced power loss data protection prepares the SSD for an unexpected system power loss by minimizing the amount of data temporarily buffered and utilizes an integrated capacity for power loss protection to provide the SSD firmware with sufficient energy to move data from the transmission buffer and other buffers into NAND, thus protecting system and user data.
