Its unique design is inspired by the pump blocks of complete water coolers. An endless mirror with digitally addressable RGB lighting is embedded in the cap. The lighting can be controlled via compatible motherboards with a 3-pin RGB header (5 V) and synchronized with other RGB accessories. Five heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm run through the cylindrical aluminum heatsink. The heat pipes are in direct contact with the processor (Direct Touch). This ensures that the heat is effectively transferred to the cooler. Inside, the Aerocool Mirage 5 features a radial fan with a diameter of 60 mm. This is controlled via PWM in a range between 1,200 and 3,000 RPM. The CPU cooler is suitable for the common sockets of AMD and Intel, including Intel 1200 and AMD AM4. Through the 4-pin PWM port and 3-pin RGB port, the Aerocool Mirage 5 connects to the motherboard. By using standard connectors, it offers a high degree of compatibility.
